This incubator campaign was for the TLC-30 Eco “To Go” Portable Incubator model
How has your first Baby Warm incubator helped you?
My first incubator has been a Godsend. Before the incubator, I was working with totes and fish tanks. The totes were more of a space saver BUT they would get condensation on them and that was no bueno! The fish tanks were better but when you’re 40 baby squirrels deep and about 10 in a tank, you simply run out of room. My kitchen was littered with totes & tanks and constant bed changes multiple times a day. The incubator has cut A LOT of work, time, energy, and laundry, out of my day. It sits nicely on my unused butcher block and I can fit about 20-30 neonates. I LOVE the fact that you can regulate the temperature (could not do that with heating pads), that there is no condensation, that the humidity can be regulated , and it’s nice and cozy for the babies.
How will this additional incubator help?
The “To go” incubator will be ANOTHER Godsend. I sometimes have to travel once a month to see family on the weekend, and would have to convert back to my old ways during baby season. Also with no fail, I have at least 4 neonates that end up coming with me on vacation. I’ll tell you it was a BEAR to pack the incubator bc I had 10 with me one year. I stressed that it would get damaged from point A to point B. That incubator is a precious gem in my eyes. Because of that fear of being damaged, last August during my vacation I packed up a 10 gallon fish tank with 5 babies and everything they needed for 2wks. I’m pretty sure the future vacations will look like the ones in the past, FaFa’s in tow
