How has your first Baby Warm incubator helped you?
I rehab neonate raccoons, and the ability to maintain body temperature and humidity levels has greatly increased my survival rate for this stage animals. Also when I had a juvie raccoon with pneumonia, the incubator helped increase his chances of survival by recuperating in a humid atmosphere where I was able to provide medicine.
How will this additional incubator help?
I trainsport neonates quite often. When finders contact me, time is my most valuable asset. Many times finders will not bring the babies to me, or they want to wait until it's convenient for them. This incubator will assist me in getting these babies in a temperature controlled environment right away, and be able to bring their temperature up in a controlled environment more quickly while in transport.
