Lisa's husband found 2 orphaned raccoons in his camp one weekend. She bottle fed them and cared for them until they were weaned, then found a local rehabber to take them and prepare them for release. Lisa was very impressed with the rehabber and her facility so she volunteered to help. She learned a tremendous amount from the rehabber then applied for her own permit. Along with 2 other rehabbers, they have built a rehab family to serve their local community. Once those little raccoons touched Lisa's heart, she was never the same. She wants to help as many as possible to have a good chance at a great life in the outdoors.
