Pat grew up around animals all her life. She doctored everything that they had on the farm from ducks, chickens, calves, pigs, birds, cats, dogs and horses. Her love for animals has always been strong and she says that life just isn't right without animals in it. Pat's venture into rehabbing started one day on a back country road when she came across a baby raccoon lying with her deceased mother on the side of the road. It broke Pat's heart because this Mama had been gone for quite some time. She stopped and got that baby and the poor thing just chattered all the way home. She was able to find a rehabber who had more babies and invited Pat to help feed them. Those little bandits stole her heart and she was hooked. That rehabber became Pat's mentor and she worked with her to obtain her license. Let's get her the incubator she needs to care for the most fragile babies.
