Christine C.

$475 of $475 raised

Christine has always worked in the animal field and has strived to be a voice for the voiceless. She feels strongly that since 98% of the reasons wild animals suffer has to do with us humans, she felt an urgency to do something to help lessen these conflicts. Rehabbing injured, orphaned or sick animals and returning them to the wild has always been her goal but she knew she needed to do more. Educating the public on ways to lessen these conflicts became another crucial message to share on this journey so Christine decided to open up a wildlife rehabilitation center to carry out the mission of preserving wildlife for the future. She and her husband have always shared a passion for raptors, so together they created their non-profit A Place Called Hope, Inc. which specializes in the care of Birds of Prey. Re-nesting baby birds has become one of their programs since they feel birds are best raised by birds. Let's get Christine the incubator she needs to help the most fragile babies.
