Four years ago Marylou found a small red squirrel dragging himself across the street. She stopped and picked him up, took him home and did some research. She found the contact information for her local wildlife rehabilitators and transported him to them. She really wasn't aware of the organization before that, but immediately asked how to get involved. She took the steps to get her license and the rest is rehab history.
