Having grown up on a farm, Anastasia has a neverending love of animals. When she moved to a very small town with few community activities, she decided to look at volunteer opportunities around her area. Wildlife rehabilitation came up, and she was partnered with a mentor who gave her a small nest of baby bunnies to try to care for. Anastasia quickly learned the hardships and the pain of rehabbing, as well as the joys and successes, and she absolutely soaks up every opportunity to learn. She has acquired so many books on the subject, as well as cages and equipment whenever possible. And working from home makes it very easy for her to take care of the frequent eaters (such as baby birds). She's working on obtaining her own license as well. An incubator will help her with the most fragile babies.
