Julie has never been able to turn her back on an animal in need. She has always taken in wildlife but initially didn't do it the official way. After finding an orphaned fawn in her yard, she called DNR for assistance, obtained the necessary permit and helped the baby. After that success, Julie decided to undertake more training so she could save others. Since then, she has been learning all she could about different species, and is close to completing all of her classes. She says she loves all animals, and that they complete her life.
