About three years ago, Maria began a new job as a vet assistant at a small local animal clinic. As time passed, she learned of all the different ways that she could help an animal. Her veterinarian and his wife taught Maria everything she now knows about rehabbing wild animals, whether it is a baby or not. As she learned, her love for rehabbing wildlife grew exponentially. Maria brings home every baby wild animal that is brought into the office because it is her passion to do everything she can for them.
