Shelly R.
Since 2012, Shelly has volunteered to help domestic animals and through that, she met dozens of amazing volunteers who worked miracles for animals in need. In early 2017, her friend and wildlife mentor suggested she try wildlife rehabilitation. Shelly took in an injured adult squirrel and has been caring for wildlife ever since. The wildlife organization that she volunteers for was heavily impacted by the Camp Fire that burned down the town of Paradise in November 2018. Two of their board members and most active volunteers lost everything – including their wildlife rehab supplies. The fire took 4 incubators, 2 aviaries, cages, formula, freezers, medication, and more. Over half of the organization's supplies were lost overnight. They have slowly been rebuilding our stock of supplies, but at this point they only have one incubator. Shelly says that if this incubator could be funded, it would mean the world to them. Donations have been hard to come by in her area because everyone is stretched so thin after the fire, and stretched even thinner during the COVID-19 crisis. Any assistance that wildlife fans from around the world could give to the wildlife in this hard hit county would be SO appreciated!
This incubator campaign is for the larger TLC50advanced model with humidity features to help the most fragile babies.
