William S.

$499 of $499 raised

About 10 years ago, William had a fawn show up at his parents' house. The fawn's mother was hit by a car as they were being chased by stray dogs. William took the fawn in to cool it down and then contacted a wildlife officer who in turn directed him to a rehabber. William started pursuing an animal career then and found himself working for the county's Animal Services Department. He says that he knows he cannot save every animal but he wants to give them the best chance possible to survive and thrive. At this time the next closest rehabber is 2 hours away, so William wants to do his part to ensure that the little critters have the best chance of growing up.
