Since Claire was a child, she was always drawn to doing whatever she could for the injured and orphaned furry creatures around her. As her own children have gotten older, she started volunteering and training as a licensed RVS wildlife rehabilitator. After witnessing an increase in the number of small mammals in need of care, she started a small operation in her own home. It has grown quite a lot in the last year and she has gained the experience and skills that are needed to help many more sick, injured, and orphaned wild animals. Sadly, most of the animals that she takes in have been injured or orphaned due to human activity. Claire says that it is also our responsibility to do what we can to restore these innocent victims back to health and get them back home.
