Julie B.
When Julie was 30 years old, she decided it was time to change careers. She remembers asking her father what he thought about leaving her job, selling her house, and going to school to be a vet tech. He replied, “Julie, you only live this life one time, and I think if that’s what you want to do, then you should do it.” Julie knew that if she ever left this earth without helping animals, she would never forgive herself. So she took a chance and made the leap, and through volunteering to help domestic animals she met the founder of a wildlife rehabilitation organization. Julie started working with wildlife and has never looked back. She says that it’s exhausting, and it’s expensive, but she wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. Her heart has always, and will always, revolve around animals.
