Katherine got into rehabbing after meeting the wonderful rehabbers at a local wildlife rehabilitation organization. As a Navy wife, she was relocated from one coast to the other, and she just wasn't sure what she was going to do, especially during the Covid 19 pandemic. Once Katherine met the rehabbers, she knew she found her calling. She fell in love with all the critters and being part of something so special. She says that this kind of work may be volunteering but it is so much more rewarding. An incubator will help her give the tiniest babies the best chance of survival.
