Rachel has loved animals since she was a young child – always bringing home baby birds or bunnies who were in distress and trying to save them. She first got into rehabbing when she found a baby squirrel in the middle of the road and she jumped out to save him from being hit. Rachel raised him herself and fell in love with squirrels. She eventually obtained her wildlife rehabilitation license so she could help save more orphaned baby squirrels, and has since branched out into helping other kinds of small animals. An incubator will be a huge help in keeping her fragile patients warm, safe and healthy.
