Catherine started as a volunteer at an organization that rehabbed raptors and then she decided to get her own permit. She had to "go back" to songbirds and in the course of her apprenticeship, she fell in love with crows because of their personalities and intelligence. She stayed with rehabilitating songbirds and, in addition, obtained an education permit to hold a crow and a blue jay as education birds. She is now the only crow rehabber in her area. An incubator will be a huge help in saving the most fragile orphaned babies.
