Suzanne J.

Retired teacher Suzanne has always loved animals and wanted to be a wildlife biologist, but became a school teacher. She lives in a small town and these experiences with the animals became known wide and far. She initially got licensed as a wildlife rehabber at the suggestion of her family vet, both to help him and to and allow her daughter (an aspiring veterinarian) to watch and learn. Suzanne has stuck with it because there is a great need for more rehabbers in her area, and it sets a great example of compassion and commitment for the children in her community. She loves teaching children about the importance of wildlife and she hopes that sharing the stories of her patients has made a lasting impression on them. Suzanne is determined to give the animals in her care the best possible chance of survival, and she knows that an incubator will do just that.
