Before You Apply
Photo Rules:
A photo is required for your application, and it must meet ALL of the rules below, including the last one about the photo needing to be WIDE.
APPLICANTS WHO IGNORE THE PHOTO RULES WILL HAVE THEIR APPLICATION AUTOMATICALLY REJECTED.
- To process your application, we need one clear photo of you working with an animal (not posing) and we need to see your face.
- We can’t accept a photo of you handling wildlife in a manner that is against the policies of your state licensing agency, or photos that give the impression that wild animals would make good pets. This means we can’t use any cuddly, posed photos or with an animal close to your face or climbing on you.
- Wear gloves when handling rabies vector species so we’re setting a good example.
- Please no fawn/deer photos.
- If you’re taking a photo with your phone, turn it SIDEWAYS so the photo will be WIDE. If it’s not wide, we cannot use it to create an incubator campaign for you. Seriously. This isn't that difficult. If you don’t have a wide photo and you can’t find somebody who can hold a phone sideways to take a photo, please wait until you do. Ignoring this request will result in your application not being processed. We've explained it 5 ways here. Don't be that applicant who ignores this.
YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE APPROVED UNLESS YOUR PHOTO MEETS ALL OF THE REQUIREMENTS LISTED ABOVE.
