Allyson loves being outdoors and being able to offer care to wildlife in need. She says that so often, humans are thoughtless about the impact we have on our environment, and animals often suffer the consequences. After recently acquiring 20 acres in rural central Texas, she and her partner have been so excited about becoming good stewards of the land, and for the animals who live on it. Allyson was inspired to take the IWRC rehabilitation training class in February, so that she will know how to care for injured or orphaned animals on her land or nearby. An incubator will help with the most fragile patients.
