Amanda S.
Amanda became interested in wildlife rehabilitation while working toward her Bachelor's Degree in Wildlife Ecology with a Minor in Captive Wildlife and Biology from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. She did several years of volunteering at a bird specific rehabilitation center before getting her rehabilitation license with the Northwoods Wildlife Center in Northern Wisconsin. Since joining the team, Amanda has had the opportunity to work with a large variety of wildlife species birds and mammals. She has now been an advanced wildlife rehabilitation license holder in the state of Wisconsin for over a year and it's truly is a dream come true for her. Amanda says that she's honored to be allowed to follow her passion of wildlife rehabilitation, and to do her part in reducing the human impact on the natural world around us.
