Amber C.
It all started with an infant squirrel Amber and her husband took in and rehabilitated 6 years ago. After that, injured and orphaned animals just seemed to find her through one avenue or another. Amber became an actively involved member of Texas Metro Wildlife Rehabilitators almost 2 years ago, took several rehabilitation courses and became sub-permitted for small mammals. She and her husband started our own little rehab out of our home and call it The North Texas Nut House since we started with squirrels. Amber has been in the construction industry for over 20 years, and many of her rehab cases have been from sympathetic construction workers who found injured or orphaned animals on construction sites. On every construction site Amber works on, she educates everyone on the importance of protecting our native wildlife and how to reach out for help when injured or orphaned wildlife is found. Let's get her the incubator she needs to care for the babies.
