I've always wanted to work with animals, that's why I chose my job in the Air Force, Pest Management. And while that has been a good career, I've been able to rescue dogs and cats in the middle east, relocate snakes that would otherwise have been killed, remove bees from areas without killing them. This work of rehabbing and saving baby animals, raising them and releasing them back into the wild is the most personally rewarding thing I have done. Ever since starting to volunteer with WRI this year, helping hundreds of babies grow up and go on to be released, I knew that this is what I want to do for as long as I can.
