I have experienced the untimely loss of people close to me and feel inspired to help both animals and humans thrive in the short time I have on this planet. My desire is to see wildlife released back into their natural habitat healthy and strong. My goal is to inspire passion for wildlife in others as well. My other job as the Director of Animal Care has allowed me to connect people with animals and I specialize in orphaned and injured deer. I have found my new niche with bats as they are a misunderstood and underrepresented species in my region.

I have worked as an animal caregiver for 14 years and an additional two years I volunteered at a wildlife rehabilitation facility. There were very few bat rehabbers in Arizona and I have always had an interest in them. These experiences have lead me to wildlife rehabilitation and in particular animals such as bats that are in need of help. Incubators are critical for bat pups.
