I have always loved animals since I was a kid. I have taken in kittens and puppies when needed, nursed them back to health and found them homes. People then started calling me about wild animals that they had found and I would locate a rehabber for them or they would bring the animal to me and I would get it to where it needed to go. I really started to see the need for wildlife rehabbers so I decided to get my license to rehab wildlife. I had a call about some bats but I was not vaccinated for rabies vector species so I went and got my vaccines and that started a love for bats which it turns out that I am 1 of 3 certified bat rehabbers in the state of Oklahoma.
