Andrea is a vet tech and loves all animals. She initially started volunteering at the Bird Center of Washtenaw County, a seasonal center run completely off donations. Now the Supervisor (and also working for the Humane Society), Andrea cares for as many as 1000 birds each year ~ injured and orphaned songbirds, water waterfowl, as well as temporary care for raptors. Andrea's heart goes out to animals in need every day. The animals keep her motivated and she loves helping them.
