Angel Wintrode is the founder of the Bi-State Wildlife Hotline, Inc. – a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation organization that rescues, raises, rehabilitates and re-releases wildlife in Missouri and Illinois. They also run the only 24 hour wildlife conflict hotline that assists the public with wildlife concerns and offers humane options to help resolve conflicts. Angel hosts the main St. Louis trauma center for sick, injured and orphaned wildlife and specializes in large rodents like groundhogs and beavers, as well as her personal favorite – skunks. The Wildlife Hotline runs on private donations and receives no state or federal funding. An incubator would facilitate better survival rates for many little wild lives that pass through Angel’s hands each year.
