How has your first Baby Warm incubator helped you?
I run Bi-State Wildlife Hotline, a rescue, rehab, and release organization that helps over 1000 animals annually. Our one incubator saves HUNDREDS of baby squirrels, bunnies, raccoons, skunks, bats, and opossums every year, and has even seen a couple of mink, beavers, groundhogs, fox kits!
How will this additional incubator help?
We are the only rescue organization in the area that does on-site rescue and pick up of animals in distress. Many of these animals are in severe distress when we pick them up. Often their primary concern is hypothermia and stabilizing their body temperature is a matter of life and death. We certainly lose the battle with a few animals every year, and the ability to expedite the warming process before we get back to base, would save lives that we currently struggle to save.
