Angela W.
Angela's interest in wildlife was sparked when her friend became a part of a local wildlife rehabilitation group. The rehabber encouraged Angela to take basic rehab classes and from there she was hooked. Angela has taken not one but four classes, three of which were species specific. She has always loved animals but never really thought about how much wildlife needed help until she was introduced to rehab. Even though Angela is fairly new to rehabbing, she took in over 30 squirrels the first season alone, not to mention cottontails as well. She loves to see them grow into healthy juveniles and be released back to the wild. This upcoming season Angela hopes to take in opossums as well. She has taken a class to prepare. An incubator will help her keep the most fragile babies warm and healthy.
