When an injured baby squirrel came into Anne’s life 35 years ago, she fell in love and has been caring for injured and orphaned animals ever since. As a Registered Nurse, her passion for helping those in need has carried over in her work with all wildlife, especially squirrels and raccoons. Anne now takes in about 100 babies every year and is the only rehabber in her area who takes in raccoons and other rabies vector species. Over the years Anne has also developed a second love – teaching others and fostering a whole new generation of wildlife rehabbers!
