$689 of $689 raised

April got into rehabbing after having a tree removed from her front yard, it had grown into their pipes. Once the tree had been removed, the employee brought April a tiny baby squirrel that they found in the tree. She immediately took the baby into her care, fell in love with rescue, and released that little baby at a healthy 16 wks last spring. She had no idea she would become so passionate for wild animals but she did, and quickly found a permit holder who would take her on as a sub-permittee. April did sub-permittee work for almost 7 months before she took the classes offered by the state and applied for her own permit. She now specializes in squirrels and works alongside a non-profit that takes in quite a large number of animals needing help. Most babies that show up in April's care are very young, eyes closed babies who need a lot of supportive care and warmth. Having a Baby Warm incubator would be a huge help.
