I was in search of change and something more fulfilling in my life so I decided to quit my job and move across the country! Moving was tough and the pandemic didn't make it easier. I've always had an affinity for animals and just happened to stumble across a wildlife centre that had an internship program. I applied and thought it would be a good way to meet and connect with people while being able to show my appreciation for animals. The minute I walked through those doors changed everything for me. Everything felt so natural and the staff were welcoming and knowledgable and I just wanted to soak it all up and learn everything and do everything I could to help these little critters. And I've been doing it ever since :)
