When Belen's son found an orphaned baby squirrel in a park 13 years ago, it started her on her wildlife rehabbing journey. She mostly helps squirrels but also takes in opossums, raccoons, cottontails and skunks when there is a need. Belen finds rehabbing to be very rewarding and loves being able to help orphaned, injured or sick wildlife and release them back to their native habitats.
