Beth has cared for animals all of her life but in 2009 her life changed when she became disabled. Unable to work and battling depression, an orphaned fawn arrived to change everything. Before long Beth was also caring for orphaned baby squirrels and other small mammals who needed her help. She found "the best mentor in the world", applied for her permit, and now cares for about 30 animals each year, mostly babies. She says that the animals helped her get her life back. We're sure the animals feel the same way about meeting Beth.
