Prior to rescuing an abused Cockatoo, Beth had only owned horses, big dogs, cats, and a few cattle. He opened her world to birds. Her family found a fallen nest of Barn Swallows in 1995 in their barn and that eventually led Beth to a wildlife rehabilitator. Beth started volunteering for her and in 1999 got her own permits. An incubator will be a life saver in giving baby birds the best possible care.
