My dad was a rehabber. We also cared for the Monmouth College Hawk 1960-1962. He always brought home orphaned and injured animals and taught me to take care of them. I wanted to be a vet… settled for being a Medic, then a midwife, then a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and Trauma clinical Nurse Specialist while raising my 12 children. Now that the kids are grown and I am retired, I do this full time , no financial assistance. I am happy to be able to take care of our wild furbabies and help them get back to living their wild lives.
