Brittany has loved animals for as long as she can remember. She always took an interest in learning more about them and helping them any way she could. It wasn't until Brittany became an adult that she learned about wildlife rehabbers and all that they do. She wishes that she had known about them sooner because she was immediately intrigued and knew she would definitely become one in the future -- only finances prevented her from doing it sooner. One year her husband’s cousin had a tree cut down in their yard and a squirrel nest was destroyed. They tried to reunite with mom, but it was unsuccessful. They immediately called Brittany because they knew how much she loved animals, and that she would know how to help the babies. Brittany kept them warm until she could find a local licensed rehabber. Ever since that day, she has had this nagging voice in her head to stop waiting and just go for it and become a wildlife rehabber herself. So that is exactly what she did! An incubator will be a huge help to Brittany in saving the most fragile babies.
