Brittany always had a great love for animals. Even when she was a little girl, she rescued birds from drowning when they were stuck in her neighbors pool. Brittany first got involved with a wildlife rehabilitation organization when she found a Robin nestling that needed rehabilitation. After that, it wasn't long before she fell in love with wildlife rehabilitation and the organization itself. Brittany is proud to say that she is currently the Secretary, Assistant Treasurer, and Volunteer Coordinator of that organization -- AWARE-The Association for Wild Animal Rehabilitation and Education. When she isn't working as a veterinary assistant/receptionist at a local animal hospital, she is at home caring for all the wildlife she rehabilitates. Her entire life revolves around animals and she wouldn't have it any other way.
