Carol B.

Carol worked as a Respiratory Therapist for approx. 37 years. Prior to becoming Director of Respiratory Care at a UC Hospital, she specialized in neonatal/pediatric intensive care. After Carol retired in January 2013, she found some baby bunnies whose mom had been killed. She located a wildlife rehabilitation organization through an online search and took the babies there for care. Carol was so impressed with the organization that she volunteered to help. Before she knew it, she was bringing home bottle fed baby bunnies, squirrels, raccoons and coyotes. She has also had several opossum. Carol says, "I love being able to give these otherwise defenseless animals a chance of living life in the wild as was intended."
