Cathy was first introduced to the world of wildlife rehabilitation when she brought a baby duck to Nature's Nursery wildlife center for help. When she saw the facility, she wanted to do more to help so she filled out an application to volunteer. After a period of time she accepted a position in operations and grew to love wildlife even more. She has cared for orphans as a foster, went out on rescues, and participated in the rehab of injured wildlife that come in to the center. Cathy says that nothing is more rewarding than release day!
