How will this additional incubator help?
I am one of the few wildlife rehabbers in MA that takes in baby bats, and one of three who takes in wood ducklings. I now have my Federal permit to handle waterfowl and I found I was using my my older Brinsea incubator for orphan wood ducklings instead of bat pups since I only have one incubator. I also rehab the bats and ducklings in two separate locations and transporting the incubator from one area to the other has been unwieldy. Currently during the Covid pandemic I am the only rehabber in MA that is permitted by MA F&W to rehab bats, the other facility is a wildlife veterinary clinic. This larger incubator will help me handle the larger numbers of both orphan baby bats and orphan ducklings that I am getting each year.
