Ever since I was young boy, I relished a passion for preserving natural habitats, conserving cleaner waters for fish and human life, and even breeding my own snake collection.
From reptiles, I branched out to learn all I could about healing and protecting vulnerable species, especially falcons, song birds, and owls.
Over the years, my wife and I have thrilled to see our impact grow, especially as audiences realize the part we all play in supporting the delicate balance of nature.

We are part of a network of rehabbers in Central New York who share their expertise and challenges. In recent years Ive been asked to mentor new assistants, so it's especially rewarding to see the next generation join us in our vision.
Whenever I canoe here along the Susquehanna, watching eagles soar above, or a beaver swimming by, I smile to myself knowing how intimately we re all connected.
As a home-based center, we've only survived from donations that supplement our meager personal funds.
