Chassey has always had a passion for wildlife, but was first introduced to wildlife rehabilitation when a client brought 4 baby raccoons to the clinic where she works as a Vet Tech. She was willing to do whatever it would take to get the babies healthy and strong enough to go back into their natural habitat, so when the local wildlife rehabber asked if she wanted to help rehab the babies, Chassey was ecstatic. She cared for the baby raccoons and the following spring she was called to care for more raccoons, as well as squirrels and rabbits. She says that watching these precious creatures grow and learn and adapt back into their natural habit is just amazing. An incubator will help her care for the tiniest babies.
