Chris has always loved animals and helped any who needed her, but when her husband found an abandoned premature raccoon, it changed everything. Chris contacted a rehabber and ended up getting a lot more than just help for the baby raccoon. She had found a good friend and mentor, and before long, Chris began rehabbing on her own. Eight years later, she takes in all wildlife - about 75 animals each year - but raccoons are her favorite. Like most rehabbers, Chris has a part-time seasonal job to help pay for baby formula and other rehabbing supplies. The incubator will help her do what she loves to do - save wildlife.
