I stumbled across a dead mother possum with some babies still alive. That connected me with my first rehabber which led to me doing this volunteer work. I am a retired Environmental Engineer. My wife and I are both licensed rehabbers. Last year we tried to help over 100 baby possums with a high success rate for larger babies with their eyes open. Poor success with smaller, eyes closed, possums. We believe the incubator could have made a difference here. Heating pads alone just don't seem to get it done.
