Cynthia has always been an animal lover but never even considered rehabbing because she was consumed by her work schedule – that is, until COVID hit. The silver lining to COVID's impact on her life was that it really put things into perspective and allowed her the schedule change necessary to begin to pursue her passion. She attended an "Intro to Wildlife Rehabbing" class which gave a realistic view of the "rehabber life." Cynthia knew immediately that this life was for her! She has spent the last year and a half volunteering with a wildlife rehabilitation organization and trying to gain as much experience as possible. She is a voracious learner and looks forward to learning about and helping all kinds of animals. She is currently focused primarily on opposum, squirrels, and rabbits but she has also received her rabies vaccines and plans to expand into helping rabies vector animals at some point. Cynthia considers it her life's purpose to try to help as many animals as she can and she appreciates any assistance that she receives!
