Cynthia P.

Cynthia is a licensed veterinarian by trade. She began volunteering at a wildlife centre in southern Ontario, Canada in 1994, providing veterinary care and fostering orphaned raccoons. In 2007 she sold her veterinary practice and opened a full service wildlife rehabilitation centre in Ontario where they rehabilitated all native mammalian species. Her team of interns and volunteers cared for thousands of animals each year. In 2015, Cynthia retired to North Carolina and has recently started volunteering for a local rehabilitation centre in Asheville. She received her NC wildlife permit in February 2020 and has just accepted her first orphans.
