I grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida. My mom shared her great love of animals with my sister and I. We cared for birds after the oil spill in the gulf of mexico. We volunteered at the sea bird sanctuary helping rehab pelicans injured by fishing lines and hooks. We also cared for turtles, snakes, kittens, gerbals, hamsters and fish. I have wanted to establish my own rehab facility since I was 10. My goal is to support rehabbers who currently have a large influx of wildlife. Our area is loosing natural habitat at an alarming rate due to housing developments.
