Dawn T.

$475 of $475 raised

23 years ago Dawn's partner found an orphaned raccoon after they witnessed the death of its mother. They rescued the little raccoon, reached out for help. For the next roughly 12 years on a very limited part time basis, they rescued, rehabbed and released small mammals. 14 years ago Dawn's partner had a massive brain aneurysm and shortly thereafter Dawn became a full time caregiver. With Dawn at home 24/7, the rescue grew. She now rescues and rehabilitates injured and orphaned rabbits, opossums, tree squirrels, ground squirrels and other small mammals. Living on a fixed income, and as the rescue does not receive any state or federal funding, donations are a tremendous help in ensuring the animals get what they need. An incubator will help Dawn give the babies the best care possible.
