I raised some baby squirrels when I was in high school and loved the experience. My dog found a baby squirrel which later died. I felt pretty helpless and I realized I wanted to get back into rehabilitation and learn the skills to save these babies. I found a rehabber to apprentice with and learned all I could. I live in an area that has lots of wildlife close in and the public is always looking for someone to help with orphaned wildlife.
