Initially, I got into wildlife rehab while working at the Humane Society back in 2003. We were contacted quite often by the public when an injured or orphaned wild animal was found. I saw there was a great need for more rehabbersnso became licensed and learned the ropes from my fellow licensed coworkers and the staff veterinarians. I stopped in 2008. In 2022, a friend had cut a tree down not knowing there was a nest. Two pinkies came out of it. I guided her on how to reunite but it was unsuccessful. It was then I decided to get relicensed so I could raise and release the two found.
